Maple Grove Quilters is a quilt guild centered in the northwestern suburbs of Minneapolis, Minnesota. The monthly meetings of the group are held at 9 am on the second Saturday of the month at Grace Fellowship Church in Brooklyn Park. The meetings include show and tell and presentations by members. The group, while small in number (25 to 30 members), is very productive with an extensive collection of quilting talent ranging from traditional to contemporary. We host a bi-annual quilt show at the Maple Grove Community center. The next show is scheduled for April 2011. The group also engages in a number of service projects including quilted bags for a women's shelter, quilts for "Quilt Pink" benefiting breast cancer research, and quilts and pillowcases for Blair's Hope.
